SENsational organises legal round table

In observance of International Day of People with Disabilities on 3rd December 2018, SENsational Consultancy partnered with King & Wood Mallesons and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, who were sponsors of this event, to hold a legal round table.
Rabi Yim from RPM Workstation opened the discussion as the keynote speaker. In her address, she talked about her own experiences as a person with a disability, the challenges she faced and her hopes for a more inclusive Hong Kong.
Ian Hardee, Counsel of King & Wood Mallesons, moderated a panel comprising distingushed speakers Dr Ferrick Chu of the Equal Opportunities Commission, Lindsay Ernst of Centre for Comparative and Public Law, University of Hong Kong and Mary Schaus of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
The round table discussion looked at the current situation in Hong Kong, and how companies can become more involved in the effort to bring about true equality.
It was an honour to have a special video appearance from Ricardo Wagner of Microsoft conclude with a presentation on Microsoft’s efforts to ensure all companies have access to assistive technology.
