Professional Disability Network (PDNHK) - Human Library

Our Professional Disability Network (PDNHK) "Human Library" events are always emotional, insightful and thought-provoking. This evening's library focused on life as a parent of a child with disabilities, or as a parent who has a disability themself.
We were fortunate to have six amazing human "books" who shared their respective life stories, and gave our attendees an opportunity to ask relevant questions. This intimate setting allowed for a different dynamic, as unique discussions took place, without any judgement or preconceived notions about what life with a disability is like.
As we close the chapter on our last Human Library for this year, we would like to extend our thanks to all our human "books", library attendees and Julius Baer, who graciously provided us with a beautiful event space to host the library.
